Cooking time: 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper;
- 1 bunch of green onions;
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 tablespoon chili powder;
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin;
- salt - to taste;
- 450 g minced beef;
- 450 g tomatoes;
- 1 cup canned or boiled beans;
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce;
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese;
- corn chips - to taste.
Preparation
Cut the pepper into pieces, chop ½ bunch of green onions. Place a large frying pan over medium heat and heat the oil. Throw in the peppers and onions and sauté for 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and fry for another 1 minute. Season with chili powder, cumin and salt and mix well. Add minced meat and cook for 5 minutes.
Throw diced tomatoes and beans into the pan. Mix until smooth. Pour in hot sauce and sprinkle with cheddar. Cover with a lid and simmer for 2 minutes.
Garnish with remaining onions and corn chips before serving.
